Hello Stranger.
Whoopsy daisy! It would appear that I completely fell of the face of the earth for a little bit. Okay, so maybe not that extreme but yes, it has been FAR too long since I wrote a little something on here and I am so, so sorry for neglecting you lovely people!
Truth is, life went mad. Around the time of my last post I was meant to have surgery, it fell through and I've been on and off the phone with the hospital for the past couple of months trying to sort out what the hell was going on. Alongside that I've had to move back to Brighton because I just couldn't handle scrimping together every single penny every month and thought it was time I made a big decision as to what to do with myself. HI MUM AND DAD.
One week I attended four gigs in one week (all needing reviewing/interviews etc) I partied my butt off at Takedown Festival and Slam Dunk Festival and I resigned from my job.
It brings me out in a sweat just thinking about it all.
With all the writing I've been doing elsewhere, I've found it tough to keep up with things on here and after transcribing the millionth (slight exaggeration) interview my little fingers just couldn't face typing anymore and I just couldn't will myself to come up with more ideas for things. I had to prioritise a bit, which meant my blog was pushed to the side slightly.
However, I have now moved back into my room at my parents house in Brighton, I've had my surgery and I'm FUNemployed. Meaning that I now have probably TOO much time on my hands if anything, so I reckon it's time to fall back in love with blogging. I've got a lot more ideas whurring around my brain so over the next few weeks I'm sure you'll be seeing more posts popping up, which I do hope you enjoy!
In the meantime, you can follow me on Twitter for pointless updates on my life:

Drunks, Lovers, Sinners and Saints.
Despite the fact I seem to lose control of all sense of time and sometimes struggle to manage everything happening in my life, I've decided to set up another blog.
The new one however, is completely unrelated to music, this isn't to say I'm ditching this one. This is my baby and where I can force all my musical tastes upon you all in the hope that you enjoy what I read. I'll still write on here as often as I can, as writing and blogging is what I love doing.
Drunks, Lovers, Sinners and Saints is my new place for life ramblings. Being a single twenty one year old has taught me a lot of things so far and more often than not I find myself ranting or babbling on to my friends about boys, life and careers in the hope they can give me an answer to all of life's questions. Therefore, to save them the earache, I thought I'd type down all my feelings on a little space of the internet. It's not a blog of me crying over being single or the like, just a history of my experiences that I'm sure a lot of you can relate to.
I won't be promoting it out too much, as it is a fairly personal blog, however if you would like something else little to read, it's there for you. I hope you enjoy it and of course you are all welcome to leave your opinions on any of the posts!

"Twenty Thirteen doesn't have a nice ring to it"
Over the past few days, I've seen nearly all my favourite blogs writing up there New Years posts, some are positive, some are quite frankly happy to wave goodbye to 2012. I can't say that I am either.
2012 has been a really up and down year for me, though I think about all the fantastic things that happened to me, there seems to be this big cloud shitting all over everything and making me feel very disapproving of the year just gone. Lots of 'what ifs' circling my mind about a whole variety of things. Then again, I can't change any of it, so what's the point in worrying about it?
I guess it all stems from a messy break up at the end of 2011 (why does that always happen huh?) it made me into an emotionless ice queen, who lost trust in nearly every person I came across and I slammed my fist on the self-destruct button of late nights and drinking. Looking back on it however, those nights trawling Southsea's finest bars, my best friends in tow, were some of the funnest nights of my life. I didn't have a care, I just wanted to forget everything, enjoy the moment and feel free. What I didn't exactly think about was that I had a 15,000 word dissertation to write, a television show to help produce every week and a career to start - cue numerous breakdowns on my mother and a load of waffle about radio. In the summer, the friends I'd spent three years with all parted ways and moved back home, I lost my grandfather and had no job to fund the flat I was moving in to. All whilst my dad was in bloody Antarctica and my brother serving a tour for the RAF. Men - completely unreliable!
Saying that though, some really great things happened to me, so I'm doing my best to think about those and the impact they had on me. Most importantly I think the people I have met this year have made the biggest change to my life and I can't thank all of them enough. Eventhough I may have met most of them through Twitter, I would hate to have them out my life, so if you're a friend of mine and you're reading this, here's to you, for making my life bloody fantastic. Here's a few other things that made my life great:
I started working for BringTheNoiseUK.com, I started as a writer, I now manage the social media and competition side of things whilst helping out with editorial work. I've met some of the best people through BTN and it's given me some amazing opportunities to interview my favourite bands and write what I'm passionate about.
I featured in the July issue of Company magazine as a Guest Music Editor. The first piece of real exposure I've ever been given and I can't thank them enough for choosing me!
I graduated from Portsmouth University with a 2:1 in Television and Broadcasting. Clearly all those drunken nights somehow didn't hinder my grades too much, thank god!
Finally, a month ago I was given the go head on my own radio show. It may only be on the local Portsmouth radio station, but everyone has to start somewhere right? I've already had some great feedback and I'm super excited to see what will come of it in 2013.
With feeling so glum about how 2012 went, I am seriously hoping 2013 shines a light onto my life a bit more. I'm slightly scared for the next 12 months, this is the first year where I haven't had education dictating my life. My only source of income is what I earn and no decisions are made for me, it's me in control of my life now. There's a possibility of moving to a completely new city, away from everything I know, there's the endless job applications to fill out for industry work and there's a whole lot more people out there for me to meet and enjoy the little moments with. Maybe I'll even stumble across a nice boy to share some time with, maybe I won't, either way my life is now entirely up to me and I'm determined to take life by the horns and go for it. There's a lot of uncertainty head of me, but one thing that is certain, one thing that I am incredibly excited for, my dad is coming home.
"There's only one man a girl can count on and that's her dad"
Here's to you 2013. You better be a good'un.

Liebster Award!
I've been meaning to do this post for a while now, but as I mentioned in my previous post I've been fairly short on free time recently, but this is something I really wanted to put up! The Liebster award is basically a way for bloggers with under 200 followers to tell you a little bit more about themselves and it's a great way to meet other bloggers and find more brilliant blogs to read. So a big thank you to SleeplessWithSienna for nominating me and I hope you all enjoy the post!
If you're tagged you have to write 11 things about yourself, and then answer the 11 questions from the blogger who tagged you. You then choose other bloggers with less than 200 followers that you want to get to know, and choose your own 11 questions you'd like to ask them.
11 Things About Me:
1. I'm originally from a village on the outskirts of Brighton, but moved to Portsmouth to attend uni three years ago.
2. In July I graduated from Portsmouth Uni with a 2:1 in BSC Television and Broadcasting
3. I have a radio show on Express FM every friday night from 7-9pm
4. I work as a Social Media Manager / Competitions Editor / Editorial Assistant for Bring The Noise UK
5. I surf and have two surfboards including a custom made one that I received for my graduation
6. I love the sea, everything about it, the smell, the feeling of swimming in it, I could never move away from it after living a 10minute walk from a beach all my life.
7. Music is a strong passion of mine & after realising I suck at playing it I decided to write about it, talk about it and promote it in any way that I can.
8. I've been told I sound like Fearne Cotton a lot - well not exactly the 'sound' of her voice but I speak in the exact same way. I don't see it but according to many I do!
9. I have two tattoos, both are lyrics from musicians, one on my forearm the other on my rib
10. I'm a country girl through and through, my family are all Cornish and I grew up playing in the woods and exploring fields and farms, which I still love to do now.
11. I've been single for about a year now, which is the longest time since I was fourteen. However I'm still having tons of fun with my friends and I'm in no rush to settle anytime soon!
SleepingWithSienna's Questions:
1. What is your number one beauty tip?
Look after your skin! Have a good routine, make sure you cleanse properly and don't buy/use products just because you know the brand, experiment and see what works best with your skin!
2. What do you do in your spare time?
I don't have much spare time these days, so it's usually spent with my flatmates watching movies or listening to new music
3. Why did you first start blogging?
I wanted somewhere to express my views about albums and music I was listening to in the hope I could inspire people, it's been slow but I love it and the fact that people enjoy what I write
4. What's your favourite film?
Such a difficult question! I don't really have a favourite so for now I'll choose Surf's Up
5. Summer or Winter?
I actually prefer Autumn, Summer and Winter seem to have so many expectations that usually disappoint, Autumn is a nice blend of sun and chilly nights for tea and warm jumpers :)
6. What would your ideal job be?
Music Journalist or Radio Presenter
7. If you could live anywhere in the World, where would it be?
I actually quite like England, so I'd probably choose Wales or Cornwall
8. What's your favourite food?
I love a nice home cooked roast dinner!
9. If you could choose any person, alive or dead, to meet, who would it be?
Crikey... Umm, Dave Grohl maybe?
10. What would your desert island beauty pick be?
Moisturiser!
11. Do you have any pets?
No - though my flatmates have four pet rats (two each) and I'm soon going to be buying my mum a rabbit!
My Eleven Questions For You:
Who's your favourite musician?
If you could meet anyone, in any location who and where would it be?
What's your favourite hobby?
What's your ideal Sunday?
Biggest adventure of your life so far?
Favourite accessory?
Desired holiday destination?
Tea or Coffee?
What inspires you to blog?

Top tip for being a blogger?

I can only apologies for my complete lack of blogging recently, third year of university is one hell of a toughy! I have my 12,000 word dissertation due in on the 30th March so my life is now pretty much non-existent because of it, oh joy!
Obviously though i don't want to completely abandon everybody and am going to do my best to keep you in the loop with what i've been up to, but instead of blabbering on about it, i thought i'd hop on the picture train and show you all through pictures, mainly taken from my Instagram (tamsynlouise if you want to find me!) So here you are, my week in pictures!
1. Spending my weekend in the garden back home in Brighton
2. Showing off the St Patricks day merch at work
3. Graze box! mmmmmmm
4. Housemate banter, apparently it's cool to abuse my Gosling :(
5. A spot of payday shopping!
6. Catch up with a friend I haven't seen in ages!
7. Yes, my mother has bought me Cornish Monopoly!
8. Cream tea and cake for mothers day :) double mmmm!
9. Got my dip-dye put back in, very, very happy with it!
Thats pretty much everything exciting thats happened, the rest of my time is spent typing, typing, typing for my dissertation, yawwwwwn!
Also starting to put together a fitness regime, as due to my operation i've done pretty much no exercise since before christmas, not good! Plus i need to get fitter as i have some surf trips coming up which i want to enjoy as much as i can, so the workouts start now! Anyone got any good advice or tips for loosing a few pounds and enjoying exercise?!
